Susan is a Jasper resident and Registered Social Worker who brings 30 years of leadership experience in community-based health and social services, organizational leadership and entrepreneurship.

Throughout her career, Susan has focused on strengthening communities, building partnerships and turning shared priorities into action. She also brings significant experience supporting communities through disaster and recovery, including work in Slave Lake, Fort McMurray, High Level and Jasper.

For Susan, this new role is also personal.

“Jasper is home, so the opportunity to bring my experience to an organization dedicated to the wellbeing of this community means a great deal to me. I’m looking forward to listening, learning and working alongside residents, community organizations, partners and supporters to build on the tremendous work already underway”.

As Jasper continues its recovery and looks toward the future, Susan will work with the JCTS Board, team and community partners to strengthen community wellbeing, connection and resilience.

Members of the Jasper Community Team Society (JCTS) are hereby given notice of the upcoming 2025 Annual General Meeting on May 28 at 6:30 pm.

Come volunteer at the March 28 Edmonton Oilers game to support the JCTS and its work in the community! We are seeking 50/50 volunteers to help sell raffle tickets at the game.

Wanda Bogdane has joined the organization as Executive Director, Term Appointment, and has already begun advancing the team’s work with key partners in her first days and weeks.
