COMMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICES

JCTS and Community Outreach Services (COS) partner to ensure that Jasper residents can access support when they need it most.

  • JCTS focuses on fundraising and making funds available.

  • COS provides direct social support and distributes funds to residents.

If a Jasper resident faces challenges, COS staff help them explore all available resources, including government aid, insurance, and community support programs. JCTS funds are only used when all other options have been exhausted.

BANFF CANMORE FOUNDATION

JCTS and Banff Canmore Foundation (BCF) have a strong partnership, working together to steward funds donated for Jasper’s recovery.

  • BCF provides financial stewardship expertise, ensuring donations are managed transparently and effectively.

  • JCTS applies deep local knowledge to ensure funds reach the most pressing community needs.

  • BCF has raised over $550,000 through the Rocky Mountain Community Relief Fund for wildfire relief.

  • Together, JCTS and BCF are working together to help steward over $5.5 million in corporate pledges from the tourism industry, supporting both immediate relief and long-term resilience.
