The JCTS is a registered non-profit organization with charitable status dedicated to fostering a vibrant, engaging, and resilient community in Jasper, Alberta.

Investing in Jasper’s Recovery, Resilience and Risk Reduction

Each quarter, the Jasper Community Team Society (JCTS) distributes funding to support projects that strengthen our community. These grants help local organizations, schools, municipalities, and churches deliver programs and services that directly benefit Jasper residents.

Impact Recap: Last Quarter

In the last grant cycle, $88,403 was distributed across the community to support initiatives in education, food programs, cultural events, and emergency services.

Organizations funded included:

  • The Regional Authority of the Greater North Central Francophone Education Region #2 – $7,500
    Revitalization of school living wall and aquarium

  • Grande Yellowhead Public School Division No. 77 – $15,000
    Restore Outdoor Space Initiative at École Jasper Elementary School

  • Jasper United Church – $15,000
    Plants for Interim Housing Residents

  • Jasper Food Bank Society – Full funding request to JCTS Board
    École Jasper Elementary School Breakfast Program

  • Grande Yellowhead Public School Division No. 77 – $2,403
    Jasper High School Grad Banquet 2025

  • Friends of Jasper National Park Association – $8,000
    Parks Day Thank You Packet

  • The Regional Authority of the Greater North Central Francophone Education Region #2 – $10,000
    Enhancing Outdoor Schoolyard Facilities

Funding Available This Quarter

JCTS has $100,000 available for distribution this quarter.

Eligibility

Funding is available to qualified donees based in Alberta, including:

  • Schools

  • Municipalities

  • Registered charities

  • Churches

Projects must:

  • Directly benefit Jasper residents

  • Align with JCTS grant priorities of recovery, resilience, and risk reduction

  • Be submitted through the Banff Canmore Foundation grant portal
