RECOVERY GRANTS

Here you'll find detailed information about the recovery grants we have available.

In the spring, the Jasper Community Team Society (JCTS), in partnership with the Banff Canmore Foundation (BCF), launched a new initiative that would make financial grants available to qualified donees in Jasper. This is supported by funds raised through the Northern Alberta Resiliency Fund at Edmonton Community Foundation, in collaboration with the Northwestern Alberta Foundation and BCF.

Qualified donee organizations were able to apply for funding to support their programs that align with recovery, resilience, and risk reduction for Jasperites through the BCF Online Grants Portal. JCTS is working with BCF to recommend and establish the grant program eligibility, fund limits, and application reviews. Once requirements are met by applicants, the applications are reviewed by an adjudication committee composed of Jasper community members. BCF distributes the grants to successful and qualified community organisations. Upon its initial launch, the JCTS Recovery Grants distributed $88k to 12 organisations supporting an outdoor classroom development for schools, temporary housing beautification, and local food security. We are excited to announce that phase two of JCTS Recovery Grants will be launching on August 1, 2025.
